Active Shooter Training

Retired county sheriff Mark Nelson has over 40 years of law enforcement experience, including 20 years as a firearms instructor and Rangemaster.

As the county sheriff, Mark Nelson saw a need for a community-based training on “Active Threat” to cover all areas, not just threats by firearms. He has presented this well-received, common man training to small independent groups and large corporate staff meetings.

Based on the concept of “Plan to Survive”, Sheriff Nelson presents this educational training with photos, video, and audio references that are both informational and entertaining.

Comments from past training events:

“My 22 year old daughter and I were speaking after the training. She told me “I didn’t really want to go. But I knew how important it was to you. I’m really glad that I did”. The thing that made such an impact on her was 3 little words “Have a plan”. Pastor R. Kennedy, New Song Worship Center

” I personally enjoyed your presentation very much.  Your stories and real life experiences added a lot to the presentation.” D. Cooper, CEO, CCFHC
