Mark Nelson is a retired county sheriff who served in law enforcement for over 40 years. As a local elected official and community activist, Sheriff Nelson has spoken hundreds of times to groups both large and small. He has spoken on numerous topics, including; early childhood education, volunteerism, character traits of honor, crisis intervention training, and many others. Sheriff Nelson has been a welcome keynote speaker and conducted breakout training.
Sheriff Nelson is also a licensed pastor and hosts a podcast called Mark My Words. He has also hosted a local radio show under Mark My Words focusing on suicide prevention.
